Our Policy

Equal Opportunities Provisions

jobdrivenow.co.uk is committed to providing equal opportunities for every applicant, driver and member of staff. We recruit, train and promote on the basis of ability and the requirements of the role — nothing else.

Our commitment

We believe a diverse workforce makes us stronger. Every decision about recruitment, deployment, training, pay and progression is made fairly and without discrimination. This policy applies to all self employed drivers we engage and to everyone who applies to work with us.

Protected characteristics

We do not discriminate, directly or indirectly, on the basis of:

  • Age
  • Disability
  • Gender reassignment
  • Marriage or civil partnership
  • Pregnancy and maternity
  • Race, nationality or ethnic origin
  • Religion or belief
  • Sex
  • Sexual orientation

This commitment meets and seeks to exceed the requirements of the Equality Act 2010.

Recruitment and selection

Job adverts, role profiles and selection criteria are written to focus on the genuine requirements of the role. We assess candidates against the same criteria and keep records of decisions so they can be reviewed for fairness.

We will not ask for information that is not relevant to the role, and we will not use a requirement that puts a protected group at a disadvantage unless it is a proportionate way of achieving a legitimate aim.

Reasonable adjustments

If you have a disability or a long-term health condition, we will make reasonable adjustments so you are not disadvantaged during recruitment or while working with us. Tell us what you need and we will do what we reasonably can to help — whether that is a different assessment format, adjusted hours, or changes to a route or depot.

Harassment and victimisation

We do not tolerate harassment, bullying or victimisation of any kind. Everyone we work with is expected to treat colleagues, depot staff and the public with respect. If you experience or witness unacceptable behaviour, you can raise it with us without fear of being treated worse as a result.

How to raise a concern

If you feel this policy has not been followed, contact us and we will look into it promptly and confidentially. Email info@jobdrivenow.co.uk or call +44 20 3890 2790.
